[Well well well, what have we here? It seems a graveyard has appeared;
And in this yard, be they friend or foe, is where those who've died have deemed to go.
Perhaps they were lost or taken away, or did you leave them to rot and decay?
Either way you're certain to find them, so will your visit be peaceful or turn into mayhem?
As ghosts of the past aren't quick to leave, I bid you due caution on this Hallow's Eve.

As the limerick above suggests, there is now a graveyard taking over the park. The entire park. It seems to have left only enough room for the pumpkin patch, monopolizing even the space that had been the corn maze. Within this grave yard you will find everyone you ever knew that had died. If you yourself have had the unfortunate chance to experience dying, you may find a freshly dug grave with your name on it(Quite literally).
It's a nice chance to pay homage to your lost comrades, of course, but do be careful. Graveyards tend to attract the more...unsavory types.]

((OOC: WELL SINCE I WAS LATE TO MY OTHER IDEAS! I thought I'd go ahead and kick off the most popular one now that Halloween has arrived. This is a MINGLE POST~! so feel free to thread hop and torture and/or comfort each other as much as you like.

( ooc: So, I got permission from our old XI head honcho to do this, but Clippy has followed the XI-ites to the Dressing Room! Really, Clippy is kind of scary. In any case, he's followed them, and now it is possible that he has infiltrated your computer, too. If you wish to have Clippy infiltrate your laptop/desktop/netbook computer, it will give you advice in the form of:

Since in this instance there really isn't any 'network rules,' Clippy will just pop up on whatever you're doing on your computer and just generally be annoying. And he won't stop. No matter how many times you choose the 'Don't show this tip again' option, he will not stop bugging you.

Oh, and this only affects desktop, laptop, netbook, tablet PCs, etc. No androids will be harmed in the making of this event due to Clippy shenanigans. I figured this might come into question at some point so I'm putting this here just in case. :|;; Any other questions? Feel free to ask me.

[As another narrator noted, the Vocaloid Haven's days and atmosphere are becoming shorter and spookier with the approach of Halloween. It's probably not such a good idea to go soloboppin' about the city - or anywhere - unless you happen to very sure of yourself, and this's particularly true at night. After all, you wouldn't want to get caught in the dark by anything...less than savory.

Whatever business you may have this fog-ridden night, and wherever it happens to take you -- back alley, graveyard, dark forest, whatever -- you may hear something rather mournful echoing close by. Further investigation will easily reveal the source: a terrified, sobbing skully-hatted midget parked on his bum. If there's anything handy to hide behind or within, he might be nestled there.

That's right, folks. Livingston is once again a Toeto. And that was unpleasant enough the first time around; now there's much more to be scared of. Who knows what fate this helpless little fella will meet if he's left alone?]

The days have drawn seriously, seriously short, and there's a nasty pall of fog all over the place that turns the collections of pumpkin lanterns from cheery smiling lit-up faces into vague shadowy grins from out the dark and is seriously screwing with your visibility. Best bring some kind of light with you, if you've got business of an evening, because you can never be quite sure what's out there.]

[like, say, the blue ghostly flame suddenly landing on the ground next to you and looming out of the darkness at a brisk pace. The owner probably doesn't realise how scarily the situation might be construed, so forgive her when she interrupts your business with a hand on your arm and out of nowhere a quiet--]

a rather LARGE, arena type stage. nobody seems to be in the audience, though people are more than welcome to be there.

Ibuki flips some long, silver hair over her shoulder, pointing a hand upward and snapping her fingers. confident as usual. ]

2. If you have a character who would LOVE to get up there and sing, FEEL FREE TO DO THAT. Yes, the magic of the DR makes it so that your music is already pre-loaded ~~I'LL FIGURE SOMETHING OUT IF THIS ISN'T OKAY, REALLY~~. You just have to get up there and sing and dance your little heart out. And don't worry about trampling on someone else's performance. If you should do this, please make separate threads within this post for your performance so that we can assume everyone is getting their turn. I ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO SING AND DANCE, GUYS. DO IT.

[ Today in the DR, you can find one Haku, standing with her Portal Device at her side. She is looking up, way up, mystified at the portals she has created.

Somehow, she's managed to fire off more than two at a time.

And instead of being regular blue and orange portals, they are black and orange, and in fun Halloween shapes - pumpkins, bats, ghosts and cats.

And instead of connecting to each other, they appear to be connected to a dimension of PURE CANDY CORN.

That's right. There is now a massive torrent of shitty Halloween candy raining from random places where she has tried to stick portals on. This scientist has never been more confused in her life.

But hey. Free candy! And trick or treating hasn't even started! ]

The size of the bus' replacement is... is really something, at least a couple stories high. Kaito is staring up and up and up at the gigantic fruit - which does of course have a gigantic face carved in it.]

[So Miku was busy arranging her costumes in the warehouse when she felt...something. Up until now, she doesn't quite know what it was, but somehow she's been feeling the urge to let people borrow her costumes just for the occasion.

That would explain why there's a crude "COSTUME RENTAL" sign up front, as well as some rather lovely outfits displayed outside.

Knowing the DR and the occasion, though...well, there may be problems with said costumes.

Like, say, transforming into the very thing you're dressing up as.

Miku herself seems rather oblivious to this new side effect, seeing as she's taken this advantage to begin selling leek juice in that shoddy cart of hers in front of the warehouse. Then again, she's not wearing the costumes.]

[Just like pretty much every other city in the world, the DR appears to be getting into the Halloween swing early this year. Already, there's signs of suitably seasonal decorations up - lights are strung up over buildings in appropriately evil and malicious patterns, and wherever you look the warm glow of torches and lit pumpkins fills the streets, or else the odd bonfire can be spotted as a hint of yellow over the rooftops. Slowly, the stores are filling with black and orange, and heaven forbid you try to get any candy that isn't candy corn or that doesn't come with a jaunty spider face.

Except... no-one seems to actually be setting any of the stuff up. It just sort of appears, out of nowhere, and it's getting more and more prevalent and cliche every day. You could have sworn that you didn't own five different types of black velvet Dracula cape yesterday, and those bumps in the night have seemed a lot bumpier lately. Is that something in the shadows - a figure, or maybe just a black cat skulking around? Either way it's hard to tell, with all the dim light around. Weren't there streetlights along this road?]

(It's October, and the DR is changing to match, be it for fun or for atmosphere or for more malicious pursuits! Think basically every cheesy or stereotypical Halloween thing mashed together into one big clump, and roll with it from there as you like. As ever, this is purely optional - please tag your posts with 'event: october' to mark them as such. Further event posts to come later, once I figure them out exactly. My apologies for getting this up late, and I'll be backtagging and catching up my crap later on tonight.)

[Part of the park has transformed into a large pumpkin patch and corn maze that's taller than any Big Al, complete with farm harvest type decorations and the occasional spooky one throughout. There is even a scarecrow or two or three that look like crude versions of various characters.]

[For the less adventurous, there is a smaller, easier hay bale maze that only reaches an adult's waist. A large hay bale pyramid to climb is present too.]
