'm sure it is. The earthbound always wanna fly. Human bein's - well, those on Earth anyhow, they-- they look at the sky, out there...an' they see the wonder of it. They see the possibility.

They see the other side of a dream.

But what they don't see is...what's beyond the sky...ain't nothin' but what's beyond the sky. Sure, there's a lot out there, but, what's there...well, that all depends on yer sky. Where ya start out from.

An' some of us, I guess...were just lucky enough t'be born under different skies. Sometimes I feel sorry for them Earth folks.

Not a happy place. I can tell ya that.

It's all the skies I seen since then that've been the good ones. All the people under 'em...all the sights, the sounds, the smells, th' tastes. Places an' critters an' plants, all that shit. Sure, I seen bad stuff too, nightmare stuff even, but it's made me who I am today. I'm glad fer most of it. Glad I was alive.
