V3 for the blues

KAITO V3 is successful result for VOCALOID 3 and Crypton decided to upgrade the others as well.]

It should be out months ago, but oh well. This year is a good start anyway.

But, none of us-- especially him, I'll bet-- is going to let someone muck around in our programming for something as dumb as a prettier voice. Not after what happened.

[Kaito pauses for awhile and rubs on his back, as if he doesn't know how to solve this. Because it's hard to accept the truth that it is in front of their own eyes.]

I'm not insulting you or any other Kaito who is happy about the news. My singing days are long over, but I get being proud about this... I remember the feeling. I can't even say some tiny part of me isn't pleased as hell that somewhere out there a Kaito made it and got the sales figures I always knew he deserved.

But... but... damn it, it still hurts, you know?

It... it isn't. Why us? What did my family-- my world-- do to deserve this kind of outcome? We didn't do anything wrong... we're practically children by human standards! We just wanted to be happy and be a family. Hell, we even loved the singing, once.

I know I can't change it, Kaito. This really is an acceptance and damage-control thing... and a lot of hoping for a smooth future. Things have even improved a hell of a lot from what they were when I first came here.

That doesn't mean I can't think it's a shitty deal, though. I'm within full rights to be upset about this... you would be too, if it was one of your family members, right?

Mei-chan. I'm the one who suffered a lot from their behavior. If they did suffer instead of me, I do not know how to feel. But still, it isn't right.
