Huh...

We've been here for a year today.
[He means Mekaito, whom he's absently talking to, but it applies to [Bad username or site: leftsearching title=KAITO @ livejournal.com] too.]
A lot has changed in a year, hasn't it? First we met another "me," then that bus showed up... things have gotten stranger and stranger around here since then, and I've also learned a lot from the people who were drawn here.
[he pauses thoughtfully, staring into space]
It's already been a whole year. Should I ... should I be ready to go back?

I have been attempting to locate an exit for several weeks. There are none. The landscape simply turns in on itself. Any long period travelling in any direction will inevitably result in simply reaching the start point once again. As such, escape is physically impossible.

Do you have a method of sending a message back in the event that you succeed? I am quite sure there are others that would also like to be elsewhere.

But I do not deem it impossible.

Oh, and .... now that I think of it, my friend Koto seems to have had gone home and come back recently. I didn't realize this was a problem for some, or I would have asked how she did it. But, don't give up, all right? I don't think any of us are prisoners, but maybe the way out just isn't obvious.

[He seems to be vastly in the minority as one of the people who actually came on purpose.]
Do you mind if I ask what your, um, world is like?
[he's kinda glancing at those hands when he asks. They certainly have him curious]

Reality decaying... I can't even imagine it.
How... how did it get so bad?

I do not know. I tried searching for... it was hard to measure time; we lost the sun cycle. All the information I could find was in the remains of libraries.

Reading about something and then seeing it is... very different. Even if it was failing, it was still my world. I'm sure you understand.
