Huh...
[Kaito has just seen today's date somewhere on the street - like a newspaper rack. He looks a bit baffled on the realization that,]
We've been here for a year today.
[He means Mekaito, whom he's absently talking to, but it applies to [Bad username or site: leftsearching title=KAITO @ livejournal.com] too.]
A lot has changed in a year, hasn't it? First we met another "me," then that bus showed up... things have gotten stranger and stranger around here since then, and I've also learned a lot from the people who were drawn here.
[he pauses thoughtfully, staring into space]
It's already been a whole year. Should I ... should I be ready to go back?

My home is a bit of a failure too. Everyone's forced to live behind a wall because of the war's destruction. It's my intention to reconnect us with the rest of the world, who are probably just as isolated. That's why, as much as I like it here, I can't just stay. But I believe my father's radio lead me to the dressing room for a reason. I can't leave until I'm finished. I just don't know how much longer it will be.

[it's a little sad though, hearing her talk of not having a purpose.]
Is there anything else I can do for you?

I'll do everything I can.
[but he still feels like he doesn't have all of the answers. He'll just have to be patient]

[it occurs to him that this is their first meeting, and she doesn't seem to be a duplicate of anyone else. It's too easy to get used to, knowing everyone's name before you meet them.]
Excuse me, but what's your name? I'm Kaito.

[Mekaito looks over to his master, who laughs sheepishly but nods. Satisfied, he turns back to Strength]
How did you get them?
