Formalities aside, there is something new in the neighborhood today. Boxes. Crates. So they seem, until you step closer. Maybe you'll hear a Miku-sounding, "Oh, it's you!" as a red laser centers itself at your chest. The moment that dot locates the target (namely, you) the gun begins firing. Don't worry, they're not bullets. Just pieces of metal and whatever else he found during his supply hunt. These makeshift turrets are immobile and their ammo can be easily dodged if you're fast enough. The turrets aren't the strongest pieces of work, either. They're susceptible to gunfire, large impacts, and the Crypton Science Material Emancipation Grid. Sometimes there's only one in an area. Often times there are two or three. (Or more, if you prefer.)

tl;dr - There are box-looking turrets everywhere. Don't get shot and don't fall for the cute, Vocaloid-sounding voices that are calling you. It's a trap.]

Unfortunately, yes. There's a particular unit with faulty programming; he's proven himself dangerous before, and I saw him collecting wood and metal a month or so back. If I had known this was the reason...

...I'm afraid not— he's real, and I've had problems with him before. ...If it makes you feel any better, I don't think you can "catch" whatever is wrong with him.

I don't think I can help you with breaking them, but do you need anything? I can try to get it for you.

[another startled look—he's not used to being thanked at all—but he considers it before shaking his head]

I should be fine. Besides, I don't know how many more of these things are lying around; I wouldn't want to send you for something and have you walk right into another one.
