*...but that's basically the same thing, isn't it. Should he have just lied? He sighs a little, more at himself than anything, and runs a hand through his hair as he shakes his head*

...sorry, I. Well. Anyway. I do... see Len a lot, still. We're bandmates.

[Insert one awkward pause here. On the (somewhat) plus side, at least that helped explained his staring...]

Sorry for, ah... bringing that up. I, um... W-well, it's nice that you can still see Len! Being in a band together must be a lot of fun.

...kind of. *awkward smile* He's bound to be furious at me this time, though. I'm due for rehearsal any minute now but I hear there's no way out of this place... *scratching his chin*

......but, ah. It's. It's okay. It's good to see so many of you who are... all right. *swallow*

Yeah, that's something that sucks about this place. You can get in, but no one's been able to find a way out again. Or, if they have, they're keeping it to themselves. I think a lot of us had plans before we wound up here too, so you're not the only one who will have someone mad when you return home.

[She's not entirely sure how to respond to that last part, so she's just going to smile and clasp her hands behind her back.]

...You had something important you were up to, before? *slightly hesitant smile. He'll try to be a little less weird for her sake, since it's probably uncomfortable enough just to hear about a world where you died.*

It may not have been important, exactly, but there was something I was looking forward to. I was supposed to go out with my boyfriend, but then I wound up here instead. My phone stopped working too, so I wasn't even able to call him.
