Ah... it's a bit complicated. And you will probably think I'm crazy after hearing it, but... there's many different versions of all of us in this place.

[imitation]

That's all right, I already thought you were crazy. *it's not quite clear whether the words are serious or joking; he runs a hand through his bangs with another confused look*

...so you mean to say this place is full of... clones of us, somehow? Or twins...? Kiyoteru never mentioned having a brother...

[vocalecturer]

. . . I'm not my own brother! And they aren't clones, just... something like alternate universe versions of us? There's a better explanation for it, but you probably won't like it.

[imitation]

Alternate universes? *slightly blank stare. This might be starting to go over his head*

...You might as well just say it. I don't like any of this, so it can't get much worse at this point... *sigh*

[vocalecturer]

[takes a deep breath, adjusting his glasses]

The Gakupo-san and Len-san and Kaito-san I know had a song in which they were the members of a visual kei band, but... that isn't their usual style at all. Ah, that is to say... if for example, I sang a song about being some sort of vampire, that doesn't mean I am a vampire. But it is entirely possible a me who is a real vampire could show up here.

... Am I making any sense?

So you know of VanaN'Ice, and... *brow furrowed* You're saying that where you come from, you know it as... fiction. Just part of a song. Is that right?...

*scratching his head with a quiet pause*

I'm sorry for-- confusing you for someone you're not. Er. The Kiyoteru from my... world?... He's our manager.

[vocalecturer]

... Ah. Really?

[imitation]

....yes? *blink* Well, I mean. He's also a friend of mine... But he's quite good at his job. *warm, slightly hesitant smile* This crazy band never would've stayed together long enough to become stars without him.

[vocalecturer]

Ahah... well, it's nice to know that there's another me somewhere out there who's doing a good job, even if it's a different profession than mine.

[imitation]

Oh? What do you do for a living...?

[vocalecturer]

I'm a school teacher!

*eyebrow raise* I'm just surprised you can put up with them without sneaking a flask into the classroom every day. But I guess different worlds must produce different people... *frown*

[adjusts glasses] I love my job very much. Of course, it can be stressful at times, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

[imitation]

Well. That's good to hear, at least. You perform?

[vocalecturer]

That's correct. But I prefer to keep my two jobs separated, inasmuch as possible.

[imitation]

So no singing educational songs for the students? *chuckle*

That's nice, though. I wish my Kiyoteru had your convictions. He's a wonderful singer, but he never wants to do it in public...

[vocalecturer]

Not if I can help. Besides, my usual style wouldn't exactly set a good example for them.
