[those of you who have been in the dressing room for a while might remember that one of the Kaitos seems to have a different birthday from the rest of them, and that his celebrations tend to involve lots of free ice-cream in the park.

this year is no exception; a few folding tables have been set up and covered with little tubs of hand-made ice-cream in varying flavors. however, one thing has changed; the birthday boy himself is puttering around instead of hiding from any who might approach. currently he's managing another new addition: a large tower of cupcakes. which is currently threatening to slide out of his grasp and to the ground instead of onto the table where he wants them.

I've just grown to be rather suspicious of food that appears from nowhere, at least in this city. The effects are never exactly permanent, though, so... [delicately selects a marshmallow cupcake, lifting it slightly and nodding in his direction as though it were a wine glass, and takes a bite]

[attempting to stammer a rebuttal before trailing off, looking hurt in a way that would be more appropriate if she'd insulted him. ...that expression gets discarded in favor of staring rather quickly, however...

I think I actually preferred suddenly becoming male.

That one Kaito and I have come to a mostly amiable arrangement involving insults and a good deal of verbal sniping. I wouldn't put it past him to make fun of me for this, and I believe he does have access to security cameras and the like at this point...

Oh well, let him say what he likes. I'm sure you've enough wit to strike back at him twofold.

Some very good repairs and time, primarily. Most of his issues stemmed from severe damage to his programming, as well as a sense of betrayal— he'd been driven mad by his creators.

Beyond that... [sighing] We're not so dissimilar, in some ways.

[she's quiet for a moment — partially because that requires some mulling over, and partially because she might be falling asleep, oops]

...I should like to have a conversation with him sometime, in that case.
