[After the initial noise and crumbling of that entrance, you'd expect some settling, maybe a confused new arrival stumbling about, shenanigans and such but... you'd be dead wrong. That mecha, despite the major damage, is still functional and is now rocketing out of the collapsed debris to hover curiously in the air above the town. From what it looks like it seems to be assessing it's current situation. At least it's not attacking, right? Right...?]

that's a neat trick by the way but there's one problem with it. you're standing within her firing range much closer than when you were on the building and hey guess what? she doesn't like you on her machine.

[Dodges instantly and hops around the mecha until he lands on top of the building again.]

[Leaps to the air, swings his wand, and out from nowhere, military's missile counters with her missile. As for the laser, he creates a magic barrier to deflect it.]

[maneuvering this hunk of metal into a downward charge to slice at the blue-haired guy with the mecha's sword arm]

[Tightens his grip on his wand and moves his other hand at the tip of it. He simply blocks the attack, and surprisingly, he doesn't seem getting recoil from the impact, despite how small he is compared to the mecha.]

[That's alright, there is a gun laser mounted on the other arm of the mecha for just such things. All it requires is moving the barrel in the general direction and FIRING CLOSE RANGE LASER SHOTS AT HIM.]

[Pretty sneaky are you? He quickly let go off from the block, twists himself to the mid air just to dodge from the laser.]

[No, she prefers upfront and face-to-face combat. It's so much easier to see the desperation and fear that way.]

[As soon as he twists away, she is giving chase with the help of the rocket thrusters on the mech, all the while firing more shots in his direction. She doesn't quite care if damages happen or bystanders are killed due to deflections in this fight, you see.

Are you sure grabbing her attention was the best idea~?]

[Well, he's actually trying to avoid her from firing the city itself. If she happens to shot at the residents, he simply create a magic barrier to deflect them.

He's not best at combat, also his magic abilities is limited due to DR, which is not his main ground. He lures her to the nearest construction zone. At least this area seems safer.]

[Safe for who? Because it will obviously not be him since he's led her to a place where she can still manage to use the scenery against him.

Concentrating fire on any object above or around him to force him to dodge or deflect heavily falling or exploding objects.]

[He will keep dodging as he please, but he has to remind himself, his strength can't win against the mecha.

Do you know construction zone got a lot of sharp metals, tools, bricks and heavy vehicles?

Then he will use his magic ability to float them all. They circling around him first, and within a second, they fly towards the mecha.

What are you going to do?]

[Dodge by the smallest fraction and slice away or shoot the debris that manages to get past.

How long is he going to keep that up though? She doesn't look like she's going to rush him again anytime soon.]

[...Then he stops, eventually lands on the ground while facing the mecha. He doesn't seem fighting back either.]

My, you're one worthy opponent, who's hard to deal with.

[Weirdly enough, she can certainly hear him talking but with all the nonsense he's been spouting she hardly pays attention to it.

He's a strange man though. Fighting without the use of a mecha or artillery... It's curious. Almost intriguing enough for her to want to try "playing" with him at another time. Not that she'll run off now without seeing how much more he can do.~]

[Speaking of. Don't think she hasn't noticed how much he's been defending the buildings and townspeople from her attacks. That's such a big weakness, she thinks... Protecting people who won't protect themselves and spreading himself thin. It gives her an idea...

Say, does his barriers protect the entirety of the town if she... Takes aim at one of the farthest buildings in the middle of the city with the laser cannon on the mech's arm and randomly fires off 3 successive shots? Because she's done just that.]

[He once a landlord of the dream world, that doesn't mean he ignore Dressing Room. This place is his second homeland to him, since he stuck here in beginning, and met several of strange people with various opinions.

He thought he might avoid major destruction by luring the mecha to the construction area, and face with him alone. However, he never expect that 'cheat' strategy coming from it.

Closing his eyes, slowly waves the wand to the air, and starts to mumble the words (no one can tell language it is) before casting the spell to create the largest barrier, blocking the lasers away.]

[When he opens he eyes again, he makes a sigh of relief that he's successfully protect the city.

Unfortunately, his sight slowly gets blurry. Perhaps he used too much energy for a small body like him. He tries to move his legs, but ended up falling to his knees.

Trying to gain his energy back by drawing the energy source from the ground. Hopefully, she doesn't notice.]
