[Rin laughs a bit before placing a finger to her lips and "hmm"ing.]

What song should I sing for shameless Len~?

[She wonders, not really expecting an answer she thinks about the newest songs she's learned. Her first choice is a recent song but. Singing that to this Len would be in bad taste so she discards that idea immediately.

Well then, that leaves another recent one... And that is this one. Which she will begin singing acappella. As she has no speaker attachments, etc. like a normal Rin would sport to help her with the music.]

[He smirks - almost involuntarily - at being called 'shameless,' but then she starts singing and he watches her with a serious expression.]

[It's darker than he was expecting, but he's certainly not going to interrupt her while she's singing.]

[Yes. She's gotten very good at these dark songs, if only through experience with darker elements in her world. It's almost like she really is singing for her own forgiveness for the sins she's done here.]

[But enjoy the 4 minutes 33 seconds of Rin actually singing the song with some feeling in it. She'll be completely silent afterward, preferring to stare at the ground deep in thought.

Besides what can she say after a song like that ends? Thanks for listening? Ahahaha.]

[It takes him a good three seconds to recollect himself, mostly because he'd been enjoying her smooth recital, and partially due to his musing on his own Rin. Had she ever been quite like this? He couldn't recall. He definitely couldn't recall.]

[But when she finishes, his tone is less sly and more genuine.]

I'm impressed. Very impressed.

She is too used to hidden malice and stupidity in them to take one for what it is.]
