[when she wakes up, she realizes she's not where she was before. no, this place was far more uncomfortable. she'd done it on her bed ... it was comfortable as life had slipped away from her.
she hadn't deserved that comfort.
she didn't think she did.
but as her eyes opened, the harsh reality that she had lived came to her. or had she? she wasn't sure.
as her vision focused, she stared, wide-eyed up at the sky for several moments, focusing on the sound of her breathing.
this wasn't right. this couldn't be right.
... but it was reality.
