[ in an otherwise quiet little neighbourhood, there's a familiar scene unfolding: Kaito's walking diligently down the street with a Meiko half-sprawled over him, who's somehow managing to walk of mostly her own accord, despite being at least ten shades of drunk ]

Oi, Kaito. Where the hell are we?

Exactly where we should be! Look, don't you recognise these street lights... ? [ he stares up, even if he doesn't sound very convinced of it ] I'll have you home and ready for your hangover in no time.

[ Meiko looks up as well, blinking several times ] You'd better. And hurry it up, too, or I'm making you carry me for the rest of the way.
