On this episode of "Gakupriest is a Doofus"...

[So, Gakupriest's been doing some reading. No surprise there. He's out somewhere, found a comfy place to sit, and is just...surrounded by books. He's flipped through most of them, but just can't seem to concentrate. Some odd feeling of restlessness impossible quite shake.

Then he spots a rather sizable stick not too far away from his sitting spot. He sets down the book he'd had in his hands at that particular moment and picks it up, examining it. For some reason he's reminded that most of the variants of himself he's met are swordsman. A strange idea to him, since traditionally the Priest class wasn't allowed to wield bladed weapons. He'd probably just hurt himself if he even picked up an actual sword.

...

Looking to the left.

Looking to the right.

Coast looks clear.

He stands, stick-sword in hand, and slowly, awkwardly, imitates what he's seen other Gakupos do. Emphasis on "awkwardly".

Somebody take that thing away from him before he really does manage to hurt himself.]

[and that should be a warning, but Len picks it up and swings it around anyway. Several seconds later, he overbalances and lands on his butt. Hard.]

Yeah. Y'know, priest? Healer?

'Priest' has something to do with... One of the religions? I think.

But, um, don't you mean 'doctor'?

I've been called "doctor" a few times before, but...no, I mean priest. We're the healing class, keeping everyone alive and bringing them back from the dead if need be.

Never went to school, so um, I don't have a 'class' then, I guess.

No, not like school. A class is like a profession. Swordsman, gunner, merchant, just to name a few.

That's another way to put it, but the most commonly used term is "class". At least where I'm from.
